Case Studies - Process Plant Engineering
Process Plant Engineering
Chemical Innovations Ltd are a leading manufacturer of high performance rubber to metal and polyurethane (PU) to metal bonding systems and are a long standing client of Holden's.
Over the years, as the company has expanded, we have carried out full design, build and installation of chemical process plants providing a full turnkey design & build service as required. It is the case with most of our chemical process clients that plant down time is a major issue. This is compounded by this client as their available factory space being extremely limited.
It has been the case in the past that the only way that space can become available is the removal of redundant plants. This process has resulted in us being awarded contracts for the decommissioning and dismantling of chemical process plants from within the production facility.
This then becomes further complicated by all production areas being hazardous / flame proof areas were any form of hot work is to be avoided at all costs.
Any and all work on this site requires meticulous planning with our client to work around production requirements and meet required by dates and dead lines which they require.
As a part of our continued support to this customer we provide ongoing engineering support on an as and when required basis, not only with manufacturing vessels and modifications to existing vessels to meet changing needs, but also in providing support structures such as ladders, platforms, steps and railings.
