Waste Recycling Company, Global Renewable operate two large state of the art Waste recycling Technology Parks in Lancashire, one near to our own premises in Leyland and one in Thornton on the Fylde coast. We have carried out various projects and maintenance work for them since they opened in the summer of 2010, along with fulfilling a breakdown / back up service, for example:
- Walkway protection canopies
- Armco barriers
- Hard facing and build up of shredder teeth
- Repairing broken conveyor drive rollers
- Machining various components including shafts
- Fabricating and installing support beams
- Refurbishing large augers to include the application of hard face materials
- Machining replacement gear shafts & components
Due to the operational nature of the Waste Technology Parks installation work has to be carried out during shut down periods and often has to take place out short notice over weekends which we are able to achieve due to the flexibility and commitment of our experienced workforce
