Recycling
Over the last few years Holden's has again ventured into a new industry sector to provide engineering support for the recycling industry. In particular we have developed a close working relationship with the maintenance and engineering teams at Global Renewables' two state of the art Waste Technology Parks in Leyland and Thornton.
The work we have carried out includes:
- Designing, fabricating and installing walkway protection canopies
- Installation of Armco barriers
- Hard facing and building up of shredder teeth
- Repairing broken conveyor drive rollers
- Machining various components including shafts
- Fabricating and installing support beams
- Refurbishing large augers to include the application of hard face materials
- Re-flighting large augers
- Manufacturing large augers
- Machining replacement gear shafts and components
- Fabricating and installing walkways, platforms, steps and ladders
